A welcome return for Metef, one of the world’s first trade shows focusing on aluminium, scheduled in Bologna in 2021 with new projects and important synergies<\/strong><\/h4>\n

Veronafiere and BolognaFiere have set up a 50:50 joint venture (50-50) for Metef<\/a>, the international trade show for aluminum, metal foundries and innovative material technologies.<\/p>\n

The show was launched in Italy in 1997 by Edimet as the first event in the world specifically focusing on aluminum. Veronafiere then took an initial shareholding, followed by acquisition of the entire equity in 2017. The event enjoys international scope and the last edition held in Verona in 2017 attracted 400 exhibiting companies and more than 11 thousand sector operators (40% international from 63 countries).<\/p>\n

Thanks to this partnership agreement, Veronafiere and BolognaFiere today propose a new Metef event with an updated format and a new location. The next edition will take place 25-27 March of 2021 at the Bologna Exhibition Centre. The other major innovation concerns the exhibition context: Metef 2021 will be scheduled alongside MecSpe<\/a>, the reference event in Italy for manufacturing industries, as well as for intelligent factories; the last edition was attended by more than 56,000 professionals and in 2021 will transfer from Parma to Bologna.<\/p>\n
