New partnership in the exhibition sector: Veronafiere and Fiera di Roma will work together for the “Cavalli a Roma” show. The next edition is scheduled 13-16 February 2020 at the Rome Exhibition Centre and will be organised by Veronafiere, although Fiera di Roma retains ownership of the brand.

The main changes will involve the format: it will be increasingly open-ended as regards the various fields associated with the equestrian world, with specific initiatives targeting enthusiasts, sports, breeders and operators. The event will hereafter be named “Cavalli a Roma by Veronafiere”.

«We always welcome teamwork», said Giovanni Mantovani, CEO of Veronafiere. «This system-creating operation seeks to develop and expand an exhibition together with Fiere di Roma to promote and enhance the equestrian supply chain even in this part of Italy. We should always bear in mind that the sector focusing on the world of horses generates allied business worth more than 5 billion euros in Italy, with 5.000 companies and breeders, 2.000 equestrian centres and 48.000 direct employees. Veronafiere will provide all its experience as organisers of Fieracavalli – the most important national trade show that celebrates 122 editions in Verona in 2020».

«Unity is strength: we have always been convinced of this and of course this also applies to trade fairs», said Pietro Piccinetti, CEO of Fiere di Roma. «We are particularly happy to inaugurate synergy with Veronafiere through the “Cavalli a Roma” event. Thanks to significant numbers of Italian breeds and the largest FISE membership base in Italy after Lombardy, Latium enjoys strong links with the equestrian world and the event dedicated to horses at Fiera Roma already goes back ten years and is perfectly set to become the landmark for Central-Southern Italy. Collaboration with Veronafiere and its experience in the sector going back more than one hundred years bring the goal even closer and will be the beginning of an important journey together».
