Service stations of the future at Oil&NonOil

Three days dedicated to the liquid and gaseous fuel distribution sector: Oil&NonOil at Veronafiere Wednesday 16-Friday 18 November. The service station sector in Italy boasts more than22,000 points of sale and around 24,000 employees and is currently experiencing a period of far-reaching upgrading: petrol stations increasingly offer customers more services to the point of are full-scale veritable “mobility centres” where oil, mini-markets, car washes, electric charging columns and car parks converge. The trade show has attracted 116 exhibitors  and 9 start-ups covering all the sectors involved: from alternative and green fuels to car wash installations by way of management systems for plant, pipes and pumps and projects focusing on related bars and convenience stores. The goal is to explore the multiple challenges arising from the energy and digital transition to design the service station of the future.

Innovations

At Oil&nonOil this year welcomes the debut of the Innovation Village – a hub promoting dedicated to the most innovative start-ups in the sector operating in the sustainability field applied to the fuel distribution network dealing, for example, with electronic payment systems, catering, energy self-sufficiency for service stations and various technologies. Trade visitors attending the show will choose the best projects presented which will then receive the Oil&nonOil Innovation Village Award.

Piemmeti

Oil&nonOil is an historic brand which has been hosted in the Verona Exhibition Centre since 2012. This year, the event is back to full capacity with the active involvement of all the main companies and associations in the sector. And it is also the first edition managed by Piemmeti, the Veronafiere S.p.A. group company specializing in the promotion and organization of technical b2b events. In 2023, Oil&nonOil will change its formula, instead of an annual it will become a biennial event held at Veronafiere in odd-numbered years.
