Investments totalling 94 million euros through to 2020 focusing five growth assets, with turnover expected to reach 113 million euros and Ebitda 21.9 million euros, equal to 19% of revenues.

Two objectives: strengthen the role of world leadership and continue to generate wealth for the city and the local area.
Briefly, these are the guidelines contained in Business Plan for Veronafiere S.p.A. approved today by the special AGM in relation to the concurrent conversion of Veronafiere into a joint-stock company.

The project – after detailed analysis of the dynamics on the global, European and Italian exhibition market – is based on five pillars: consolidation of existing exhibition events and world leadership in wine&food and marble-construction sectors; strengthening in agriculture and related technology sectors; integrated development of services with special attention on topics associated with digital transformation; cost control; upgrading and modernisation of the south side of the Exhibition Centre.

«Veronafiere, as the owner of major exhibitions generating 87% of its revenues,» siad CEO Giovanni Mantovani, «is the leading direct organiser of trade fairs in Italy as well as selling the most square metres for international events; it ranks 12th in Europe as regards exhibition area and number of exhibitors and 13th for visitor numbers. Starting from this background, transformation into a limited liability equity company (S.p.A.) and the related business are a vital opportunity for Veronafiere, not the least through collaborations and partnerships, to improve its international ranking even further».
