The extraordinary AGM of Veronafiere SpA today approved the proposed increase in equity capital of 30 million euros supporting the development of the 2019-2022 Business Plan, thereby implementing the decision of the Board of Directors taken on 22 November 2018 which was then discussed during the shareholders meeting on 8 May 2019.

The unanimous vote at the extraordinary AGM today,” said Maurizio Danese, President of Veronafiere, “it is an important signal that consolidates Veronafiere’s economic leadership not only in its local area and within the nationwide system but also on international markets. The increase in equity capital will make it possible to implement in full the growth directives outlined in the Business Plan envisaging total investments of 105 million euros by 2022.”

The Business Plan envisages three strategic development lines, backed up by an important digital transformation and internationalization project: upgrading Exhibition Centre infrastructures to ensure it is one of the most modern in Europe; launching new products in agro-food, wine and natural stone segments; promoting value-added services in digital, stand set-up and catering fields.
